The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of Medicus Medical Center are located at the second floor of the building and form part of the Operating Room Complex. These specialized units provide the highest level of medical and nursing care to address the needs of patients who require special care and monitoring.
Our Intensive Care Unit Complex has a 11-bed capacity unit. Each ICU is equipped with patient monitor and individual oxygen panel (oxygen supply, oxygen saturation and suction) to properly manage and monitor the condition of the patient. The ICU Complex has dedicated ECG and cardiac monitors. Nurses stationed in the ICU are highly trained and specializes in intensive patient care.
Dress Code
Medicus Medical Center strictly adheres to infection control measures. Therefore, a family or relative is required to follow dress code prior to entering the OR Complex.
Visiting Hours
Specific visiting hours are implemented to family and relatives who wish to enter the ICU. A waiting area is provided to the watchers outside the OR Complex.
Morning schedule: 10:00am to 11:00am
Afternoon schedule: 5:00pm to 6:00pm
NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
The NICU of Medicus Medical Center is the area in the hospital where highly trained hospital staff care for newborns who have medical complications, or babies who have been born prematurely.
Visiting hours:
Morning Schedule: 10am to 12 noon.
Afternoon Schedule: 4pm to 6pm.
